How can I make Windows Media Player show a progress bar or

the buffering taking place on an embeded WMV.

I would like those viewing this site to know it is loading.

Just let it play as it downloads.

But..WMV tend to be quite large. You might want to rethink it

and convert to

a Quicktime compressed format or Flash Video.

That s because it doesn t do what you want. At least what I

think you want.

That code just tells the video to play without the user

having to click on

the play button.

Let s try to get clear on what you do want. You want to see

some sort of

progress bar showing that the file is downloading WHILE it is

also playing.

Like the Quicktime player does.

I don t believe this can be acheived with the Windows Media

Player plugin.
